       Senator Benacquisto moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 49 - 57
    4  and insert:
    5  provides coverage for abuse-deterrent opioid analgesic drug
    6  products:
    7         (a) May impose a prior authorization requirement for an
    8  abuse-deterrent opioid analgesic drug product only if the policy
    9  imposes the same prior authorization requirement for each opioid
   10  analgesic drug product without an abuse-deterrence labeling
   11  claim.
   12         (b) May not require use of an opioid analgesic drug product
   13  without an abuse-deterrence labeling claim before authorizing
   14  the use of an abuse-deterrent opioid analgesic drug product.

   18         Delete lines 5 - 13
   19  and insert:
   20         abuse-deterrent opioid analgesic drug products may

   23         insurer imposes the same requirement for each opioid
   24         analgesic drug product without an abuse-deterrence
   25         labeling claim; prohibiting such health insurance
   26         policy from requiring use of an opioid analgesic drug
   27         product without an abuse-deterrence labeling claim
   28         before authorizing the use of an abuse-deterrent
   29         opioid
