       The Committee on Appropriations (Ring) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 29
    4  and insert:
    5  recognize the credits as foreign language credits; however, each
    6  student and his or her parent must sign a statement
    7  acknowledging and accepting that taking a computer coding course
    8  as a foreign language may not meet out-of-state college and
    9  university foreign language requirements. Computer
