       Senator Smith moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Between lines 1425 and 1426
    4  insert:
    5         Section 71. (1) The Pompano State Farmers Market is
    6  redesignated as the “Edward L. Myrick State Farmers Market.”
    7  This designation honors Mr. Edward L. Myrick, a veteran of the
    8  United States Army and a pillar of the Pompano agricultural
    9  community. Mr. Edward L. Myrick has played a leading role in the
   10  success of the Pompano State Farmers Market since 1976 and
   11  continues to serve the market and the community through his
   12  leadership in ensuring the availability of fresh agricultural
   13  produce to the community at large.
   14         (2) The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is
   15  directed to erect suitable markers designating the Edward L.
   16  Myrick State Farmers Market as described in subsection (1).

   19  And the title is amended as follows:
   20         Delete line 238
   21  and insert:
   22         dealer; providing an honorary designation of a certain
   23         farmers market; providing an effective date.
