       The Committee on Appropriations (Simmons) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 154 - 157
    4  and insert:
    5         (c) If at least 10 jurors determine that the defendant
    6  should be sentenced to death, the jury’s recommendation to the
    7  court shall be a sentence of death. If fewer than 10 jurors
    8  determine that the defendant should be sentenced to death,
    9         Delete lines 385 - 388
   10  and insert:
   11         (c) If at least 10 jurors determine that the defendant
   12  should be sentenced to death, the jury’s recommendation to the
   13  court shall be a sentence of death. If fewer than 10 jurors
