       The Committee on Regulated Industries (Latvala) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 662 - 672
    4  and insert:
    5  percent of the purchase price collected or 110 percent of the
    6  wholesale cost, whichever is greater, for each item of
    7  merchandise sold. The board may, by rule, specify criteria for
    8  the classification of items sold in a preneed contract as
    9  services, cash advances, or merchandise.
