       The Committee on Education Pre-K - 12 (Bullard) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Between lines 57 and 58
    4  insert:
    5         (c) Notwithstanding the SAT and ACT score requirements in
    6  paragraphs (a) and (b), a teacher who cannot secure his or her
    7  SAT or ACT score may demonstrate eligibility for the scholarship
    8  through a National Board Certification or an accredited subject
    9  area certification. Such certifications shall replace any ACT or
   10  SAT score eligibility requirement.
