       The Committee on Appropriations (Montford) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (890458) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Between lines 816 and 817
    5  insert:
    6         (e) Each school district shall annually complete a report,
    7  provided in a format specified by the Department of Education,
    8  to indicate the number of students that have enrolled in a
    9  traditional public school after attending a charter school, to
   10  identify the academic status of such students, and to report on
   11  the reason why the students left the charter school, if that
   12  information is available. The districts shall compile the
   13  information in a way that maintains the confidentiality of the
   14  students. The department shall compile the results by district
   15  and include them in the report required under sub-sub
   16  subparagraph (5)(b)1.k.(III).
