       Senator Flores moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 1082 and 1083
    4  insert:
    5         Section 16. Subsection (6) of section 409.983, Florida
    6  Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         409.983 Long-term care managed care plan payment.—In
    8  addition to the payment provisions of s. 409.968, the agency
    9  shall provide payment to plans in the long-term care managed
   10  care program pursuant to this section.
   11         (6) The agency shall establish nursing-facility-specific
   12  payment rates for each licensed nursing home based on facility
   13  costs adjusted for inflation and other factors as authorized in
   14  the General Appropriations Act. Payments to long-term care
   15  managed care plans shall be reconciled, as necessary, to
   16  reimburse actual payments to nursing facilities resulting from
   17  changes in nursing home per diem rates, but may not be
   18  reconciled to actual days experienced by the long-term care
   19  managed care plans.
