       Senator Lee moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 481 - 484
    4  and insert:
    5  authority, or other local governmental entity or subdivision;
    6         3. Require a TNC or a TNC driver to obtain a business
    7  license or any other type of similar authorization to operate
    8  within the local governmental entity’s jurisdiction;
    9         4. Enter into an agreement that gives one or more TNCs the
   10  exclusive right to operate within the local governmental
   11  entity’s jurisdiction; or
   12         5. Enter into an agreement that provides disparate
   13  treatment to one or more TNCs within the local governmental
   14  entity’s jurisdiction.

   16  Subparagraphs 4. and 5. do not apply if the county,
   17  municipality, special district, airport authority, port
   18  authority, or other local governmental entity or subdivision
   19  enters into such agreement after a competitive solicitation
   20  process.
