       Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services
       (Artiles) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 635 - 640
    4  and insert:
    5  Agriculturalists Association; and with at least one of the MMTCs
    6  being, at the time of initial application, a veteran business
    7  enterprise as defined s. 295.187(3) which meets the requirements
    8  of this section.
    9         (e) Within 6 months after each instance of the registration
   10  of 75,000 qualifying patients with the compassionate use
   11  registry, register four additional MMTCs if a sufficient number
   12  of MMTC applicants meet the registration requirements
   13  established in this section and by department rule. The
   14  department shall grant preferential and bonus scoring criteria
   15  for applicants that, at the time of initial application, are
   16  veteran business enterprises as defined s. 295.187(3) which meet
   17  the requirements to be awarded and registered as an MMTC.

   22  insert:
   23         requiring the department to meet specified procurement
   24         goals of medical marijuana treatment centers as
   25         veteran business enterprises;
