       The Committee on Banking and Insurance (Baxley) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 111 - 116
    4  and insert:
    5         (7) The payment by a surety of a forfeiture under the
    6  provisions of this law shall have the same effect on the bond as
    7  payment of a judgment.
    8         (8) If the defendant is arrested and returned to the
