       The Committee on Education (Flores) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Between lines 31 and 32
    4  insert:
    5         Section 2. Subsection (8) is added to section 1002.51,
    6  Florida Statutes, to read:
    7         1002.51 Definitions.—As used in this part, the term:
    8         (8) “Public school prekindergarten provider” includes a
    9  charter school that is eligible to deliver the school-year
   10  prekindergarten program under s. 1002.63 or the summer
   11  prekindergarten program under s. 1002.61.

   14  And the title is amended as follows:
   15         Delete lines 2 - 10
   16  and insert:
   17         An act relating to education; requiring the
   18         Commissioner of Education to review specified college
   19         entrance examinations to determine their alignment
   20         with the core curricular content for high school level
   21         English Language Arts and mathematics established in
   22         state standards; requiring the commissioner to submit
   23         a report on the results of such review to the
   24         Governor, Legislature, and State Board of Education by
   25         a specified date; amending s. 1002.51, F.S.; defining
   26         the term “public school prekindergarten provider”;
   27         amending s. 1008.22,
