       The Committee on Commerce and Tourism (Latvala) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 250 - 256
    4  and insert:
    5  programs at state colleges, state technical centers, or private
    6  postsecondary institutions licensed or otherwise authorized to
    7  operate in this state, which provide participants with
    8  transferable, sustainable workforce skills applicable to more
    9  than a single employer, and for equipment associated with these
   10  programs. The department shall work with CareerSource Florida,
   11  Inc., to ensure that programs are offered to the public based on
   12  criteria established by the state college, state technical
   13  center, or private postsecondary institution licensed or
   14  otherwise authorized to operate in this state, and do not
   15  exclude applicants
