       The Committee on Appropriations (Latvala) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete everything after the enacting clause
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 1. (1) For the 2017-2018 fiscal year, the recurring
    6  sum of $66,058,009 from the General Revenue Fund and the
    7  nonrecurring sum of $149,074,378 from the General Revenue Fund
    8  are appropriated to the Department of Education in the Aid to
    9  Local Governments Grants and Aids – Florida Educational Finance
   10  Program category as a supplement to funds provided for the
   11  Florida Education Finance Program in Specific Appropriation 91
   12  of chapter 2017-70, Laws of Florida.
   13         (2) From the funds provided in subsection (1), the base
   14  student allocation shall increase by $70.31 and the Federally
   15  Connected Student Supplement shall increase by $78,498.
   16         (3) The Total Required Local Effort designated in Specific
   17  Appropriation 91 of chapter 2017-70, Laws of Florida, shall
   18  decrease by $1,529,002.
   19         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2017; or, if
   20  this act fails to become a law until after that date, it shall
   21  take effect upon becoming a law and shall operate retroactively
   22  to July 1, 2017.

   26         Delete everything before the enacting clause
   27  and insert:
   28                        A bill to be entitled                      
   29         An act relating to supplemental appropriations;
   30         providing moneys for the annual period beginning July
   31         1, 2017, and ending June 30, 2018, to fund the Florida
   32         Education Finance Program; providing effective dates.
