       Senator Thurston moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (713918) 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 5 - 18
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 1. (1) For the 2017-2018 fiscal year, the recurring
    6  sum of $66,058,009 from the General Revenue Fund and the
    7  nonrecurring sum of $149,074,378 from the General Revenue Fund
    8  are appropriated to the Department of Education in the Aid to
    9  Local Governments Grants and Aids – Florida Educational Finance
   10  Program category as a supplement to funds provided for the
   11  Florida Education Finance Program in Specific Appropriation 91
   12  of chapter 2017-70, Laws of Florida.
   13         (2) From the funds provided in subsection (1), the base
   14  student allocation shall increase by $249.14 and the Federally
   15  Connected Student Supplement shall increase by $278,729.
   16         (3) The Total Required Local Effort designated in Specific
   17  Appropriation 91 of chapter 2017-70, Laws of Florida, shall
   18  increase by $542,575,948.
