       Senator Simmons moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 79 and 80
    4  insert:
    5         Section 1. Subsection (2) of section 373.811, Florida
    6  Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         373.811 Prohibited activities within a priority focus
    8  area.—The following activities are prohibited within a priority
    9  focus area in effect for an Outstanding Florida Spring:
   10         (2) New onsite sewage treatment and disposal systems on
   11  lots of less than 1 acre, if the addition of the specific
   12  systems conflicts with an onsite treatment and disposal system
   13  remediation plan incorporated into a basin management action
   14  plan in accordance with s. 373.807(3). Upon good cause shown,
   15  the Department of Health may grant one extension of the deadline
   16  within the priority focus area of a basin management action plan
   17  of up to 6 months, and in so doing, may in consultation with the
   18  department, impose such conditions or requirements as are
   19  appropriate so as to assure the expeditious attainment of the
   20  remediation plan.

   23  And the title is amended as follows:
   24         Delete line 2
   25  and insert:
   26         An act relating to real property; amending s. 373.811,
   27         F.S.; authorizing the Department of Health, upon good
   28         cause shown, to grant one extension of the deadline
   29         within the priority focus area of a basin management
   30         action plan of up to a specified period; authorizing
   31         the department, in consultation with the Department of
   32         Environmental Protection, to impose such conditions or
   33         requirements as are appropriate so as to assure the
   34         expeditious attainment of the remediation plan;
   35         amending ss.
