Funds shall be provided to each district after the district has submitted its training plan to the Commissioner of Education. The funds shall be allocated to districts based on each district's share of unweighted FTE and districts with 10,000 or fewer FTE shall be provided a minimum allocation of $5,000. From the total funds, the Department of Education may use a portion for the Dr. Brian Dassler Leadership Academy to implement the program.
