       The Committee on Judiciary (Montford) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 100 - 102
    4  and insert:
    5  damages to Christopher Cannon. Of the amount awarded under this
    6  act, the total amount paid for attorney fees may not exceed
    7  $100,000, the total amount paid for lobbying fees may not exceed
    8  $25,000, and no amount may be paid for costs or other similar
    9  expenses.
