       The Committee on Commerce and Tourism (Gibson) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Substitute for Amendment (668688) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Between lines 36 and 37
    5  insert:
    6         (3) The insurer may not require that a particular vendor
    7  repair or replace the windshield.
    8         (4) The insurer may not, unless expressly requested by the
    9  insured, recommend or suggest a particular vendor to repair or
   10  replace the windshield.

   13  And the title is amended as follows:
   14         Delete line 13
   15  and insert:
   16         circumstances; prohibiting certain acts by insurers
   17         relating to vendors; providing an effective date.
