       The Committee on Appropriations (Grimsley) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 1538 and 1539
    4  insert:
    5         (d) A registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, certified
    6  nursing assistant, companion or homemaker, or home health aide
    7  referred for contract under this chapter by a nurse registry is
    8  deemed an independent contractor and not an employee of the
    9  nurse registry under any chapter regardless of the obligations
   10  imposed on a nurse registry under this chapter or chapter 408.
