       The Committee on Infrastructure and Security (Hutson)
       recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 40 - 52
    4  and insert:
    5  in the motor vehicles involved; however, in the event of a crash
    6  involving a railroad train, including crashes covered by s.
    7  316.027, s. 316.061, s. 316.065, or s. 316.066, the collection
    8  of the information specified in this paragraph shall be at the
    9  discretion of the law enforcement officer having jurisdiction to
   10  investigate the crash;
   11         (e) The names and addresses of witnesses;
   12         (f) The name, badge number, and law enforcement agency of
   13  the officer investigating the crash; and
   14         (g) The names of the insurance companies of the motor
   15  vehicles for the respective parties involved in the crash,
   16  unless not available. A member of a railroad train crew or a
   17  passenger on a railroad train is not a passenger for purposes of
   18  this section. A member of the railroad train crew shall furnish
   19  the information required under paragraphs (a), (b), (c), and (e)
   20  and, upon the request of the law enforcement officer with
   21  jurisdiction to investigate the crash, the train engineer’s and
   22  conductor’s federal certification pursuant to 49 C.F.R., parts
   23  240 and 242. The absence of

   26  And the title is amended as follows:
   27         Delete lines 9 - 10
   28  and insert:
   29         revising the collection of information to include the
   30         names of insurance companies of the motor vehicles
   31         involved in the crash, rather than the names of
   32         insurance companies for all respective parties;
   33         specifying that certain persons are not considered
   34         passengers for the purpose of making crash reports;
   35         requiring a member of the railroad train crew to
   36         furnish specified information;
