       Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services (Bean)
       recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 321 - 339
    4  and insert:
    5  Canadian suppliers meet all of the requirements of the program,
    6  while meeting or exceeding the federal and state track-and-trace
    7  laws and regulations.
    8         3. Contract with such eligible Canadian suppliers, or
    9  facilitate contracts between eligible importers and Canadian
   10  suppliers, to import drugs under the program.
   11         4. Maintain a list of all registered importers that
   12  participate in the program.
   13         5. Ensure compliance with Title II of the federal Drug
   14  Quality and Security Act, Pub. L. No. 113-54, by all suppliers,
   15  importers and other distributors, and participants in the
   16  program.
   17         6. Assist the agency in the preparation of the annual
   18  report required by subsection (12) and timely provide any
   19  information requested by the agency for the report.
