       Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Tourism, and
       Economic Development (Flores) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 43 and 44
    4  insert:
    5         Section 2. Paragraph (r) of subsection (8) of section
    6  322.08, Florida Statutes, is amended, and present paragraphs (s)
    7  and (t) of that subsection are redesignated as paragraphs (r)
    8  and (s), respectively, to read:
    9         322.08 Application for license; requirements for license
   10  and identification card forms.—
   11         (8) The application form for an original, renewal, or
   12  replacement driver license or identification card must include
   13  language permitting the following:
   14         (r) A voluntary contribution of $1 or more per applicant,
   15  which shall be distributed to the Auto Club Group Traffic Safety
   16  Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit organization.

   18  A statement providing an explanation of the purpose of the trust
   19  funds shall also be included. For the purpose of applying the
   20  service charge provided under s. 215.20, contributions received
   21  under paragraphs (b)-(s) (b)-(t) are not income of a revenue
   22  nature.

   25  And the title is amended as follows:
   26         Delete lines 2 - 14
   27  and insert:
   28         An act relating to driver license, identification
   29         card, and motor vehicle registration applications;
   30         amending s. 320.02, F.S.; deleting a requirement that
   31         the application form for motor vehicle registration
   32         and renewal of registration include language
   33         permitting a voluntary contribution to the Auto Club
   34         Group Traffic Safety Foundation; requiring that such
   35         application form include language permitting a
   36         voluntary contribution to the Live Like Bella
   37         Childhood Cancer Foundation; requiring that the
   38         Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles
   39         distribute such contributions to the Live Like Bella
   40         Childhood Cancer Foundation; amending s. 322.08, F.S.,
   41         deleting a requirement that the application form for a
   42         driver license or identification card include language
   43         permitting a voluntary contribution to the Auto Club
   44         Group Traffic Safety Foundation; providing an
   45         effective date.
