       The Committee on Health Policy (Harrell) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 41 - 52
    4  and insert:
    5         (3)(a)The agency, in consultation with the Board of
    6  Medicine and the Board of Osteopathic Medicine, shall adopt
    7  rules that establish requirements to ensure the safe and
    8  effective delivery of surgical care to children in ambulatory
    9  surgical centers. The rules must be consistent with the American
   10  College of Surgeons’ 2015 standards document entitled “Optimal
   11  Resources for Children’s Surgical Care” and must establish
   12  minimum standards for pediatric patient care in ambulatory
   13  surgical centers.

   18  and insert:
   19         adopt rules that establish requirements related to the
   20         delivery of surgical care to children in ambulatory
   21         surgical centers, in accordance with specified
