       Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Tourism, and
       Economic Development (Hutson) recommended the following:
       
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete everything after the enacting clause
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 1. Transportation facility designations; Department
    6  of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
    7         (1) That portion of I-295/E. Beltway 295 between Alta Drive
    8  and Pulaski Road in Duval County is designated as “Officer Lance
    9  Christian Whitaker Highway.”
   10         (2) That portion of South Street between U.S. 1 and S.R. 50
   11  in Brevard County is designated as “Martin Luther King, Jr.,
   12  Boulevard.”
   13         (3) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   14  suitable markers designating the transportation facilities as
   15  described in this section.

   18  And the title is amended as follows:
   19         Delete everything before the enacting clause
   20  and insert:
   21                        A bill to be entitled                      
   22         An act relating to transportation facility
   23         designations; providing honorary designations of
   24         certain transportation facilities in specified
   25         counties; directing the Department of Transportation
   26         to erect suitable markers; providing an effective
   27         date.
