       Senator Lee moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 220 and 221
    4  insert:
    5         10. The department shall provide affected local governments
    6  with a copy of the applicable task force report and project
    7  alignments. Not later than December 31, 2023, a local government
    8  that has an interchange within its jurisdiction shall review the
    9  applicable task force report and its local comprehensive plan as
   10  adopted under chapter 163. The local government review must
   11  include consideration of whether the area in and around the
   12  interchange contains appropriate land uses and natural resource
   13  protections and whether the comprehensive plan should be amended
   14  to provide such appropriate uses and protections.

   18         Delete line 32
   19  and insert:
   20         Legislature by a specified date; requiring the
   21         department to provide affected local governments with
   22         a copy of the applicable task force report and project

   24         governments that have an interchange within their
   25         jurisdictions to review the applicable task force
   26         report and their local comprehensive plans; providing
   27         requirements for the local government review;
