       Senator Pizzo moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete line 353
    4  and insert:
    5  Any amount of restitution ordered by the court as a part of a
    6  sentence may be waived by the victim, in whole or in part, and
    7  demonstrated to the court in the form of a notarized letter from
    8  the victim or the victim’s representative. Such a waiver shall
    9  substitute for the full or partial payment, whichever is
   10  applicable, of a financial obligation in satisfying the
   11  requirements of sub-subparagraph a. The notarized letter may be
   12  provided to the department or the supervisor for purposes of
   13  demonstrating completion of all terms of sentence and
   14  establishing qualifications to register to vote. A term required
   15  to be completed in accordance with this
