recommended the following:

5 and insert:
6 Section 18. Paragraph (c) of subsection (1) of section
7 413.08, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
8 413.08 Rights and responsibilities of an individual with a
9 disability; use of a service animal; prohibited discrimination
10 in public employment, public accommodations, and housing
11 accommodations; penalties.—
12 (1) As used in this section and s. 413.081, the term:
13 (c) “Public accommodation” means a common carrier, an
14 airplane, a motor vehicle, a railroad train, a motor bus, a
15 streetcar, a boat, or other public conveyance or mode of
16 transportation; a hotel; a vacation rental as defined in s.
17 509.242(1)(c); a timeshare that is a transient public lodging
18 establishment as defined in s. 509.013; a lodging place; a place
19 of public accommodation, amusement, or resort; and other places
20 to which the general public is invited, subject only to the
21 conditions and limitations established by law and applicable
22 alike to all persons. The term does not include air carriers
23 covered by the Air Carrier Access Act of 1986, 49 U.S.C. s.
24 41705, and by regulations adopted by the United States
25 Department of Transportation to implement such act.

31 196.199(1)(a) and 212.031(1)(a), relating to
32 government property exemption and tax on rental or
33 license fee for use of real property, respectively, to
34 incorporate the amendments made to s. 509.013, F.S.,
35 in references thereto; amending s. 413.08, F.S.;
36 revising the term “public accommodation” to include
37 vacation rentals; reenacting s.
