       Senator Bean moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 63 and 64
    4  insert:
    5         (d) This section may not be construed as prohibiting a life
    6  insurer from accessing an individual’s medical record as part of
    7  an application examination. This section does not prohibit a
    8  life insurer from considering and using an individual’s medical
    9  record, even if the medical record contains the results of a
   10  genetic test.
   11         Section 2. Unless reviewed and saved from repeal through
   12  reenactment by the Legislature, the amendment made by this act
   13  to s. 627.4301, Florida Statutes, expires July 1, 2021, and the
   14  text of that section shall revert to that in existence on June
   15  30, 2019, except that any amendments to such text enacted other
   16  than by this act shall be preserved and continue to operate to
   17  the extent that such amendments are not dependent upon the
   18  portions of text which expire pursuant to this section.
