       Senator Powell moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (464008) (with directory
    2  amendment)

    5  insert:
    6         (112) PALM BEACH ZOO AND CONSERVATION SOCIETY LICENSE
    7  PLATES.—
    8         (a) The department shall develop a Palm Beach Zoo and
    9  Conservation Society license plate as provided in this section
   10  and s. 320.08053. The plate must bear the colors and design
   11  approved by the department. The word “Florida” must appear at
   12  the top of the plate, and the words “Palm Beach Zoo and
   13  Conservation Society” must appear at the bottom of the plate.
   14         (b) The license plate annual use fees shall be distributed
   15  to the Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society to fund
   16  educational programs for students in pre-K through grade 12,
   17  conservation projects to protect endangered or threatened
   18  species, and services for the health and welfare of animals in
   19  the zoo’s care. The Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society may
   20  retain all revenue from the annual use fees until all startup
   21  costs for developing and establishing the plate have been
   22  recovered. Thereafter, up to 10 percent of the annual use fee
   23  revenue may be used for promotion and marketing of the specialty
   24  license plate and administrative costs directly associated with
   25  the programs of the society and the specialty license plate.
