       The Committee on Innovation, Industry, and Technology
       (Albritton) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Between lines 67 and 68
    4  insert:
    5         Section 3. Subsection (47) is added to section 570.07,
    6  Florida Statutes, to read:
    7         570.07 Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services;
    8  functions, powers, and duties.—The department shall have and
    9  exercise the following functions, powers, and duties:
   10         (47) To purchase, at its discretion, private insurance
   11  policies to cover expenses related to the payment of benefits
   12  required by s. 112.1816.
