The Committee on Ethics and Elections (Rodriguez) recommended
the following:

5 Section 1. Paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of section
6 101.111, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
7 101.111 Voter challenges.—
8 (1)(a) Any registered elector or poll watcher of a county
9 may challenge the right of a person to vote in that county. The
10 challenge must be in writing and contain the following oath,
11 which shall be delivered to the clerk or inspector:

18 I do solemnly swear or affirm that my name is ....; that I am a
19 member of the .... Party; that I am a registered voter or
20 pollwatcher; that my residence address is ...., in the

23 belief are set forth herein. I further understand that if I file
24 a frivolous challenge of any person’s right to vote, I may be
25 convicted of a misdemeanor of the first degree, fined up to
26 $1,000, and imprisoned for up to 1 year. to wit:
