       The Committee on Governmental Oversight and Accountability
       (Hutson) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete everything after the enacting clause
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 1. Subsection (12) is added to section 559.952,
    6  Florida Statutes, as created by SB 1870, 2020 Regular Session,
    7  to read:
    8         559.952 Financial Technology Sandbox.—
    9         (12) FEES.—The office may not waive or modify any fee
   10  provided under this chapter except as authorized under this
   11  section.
   12         Section 2. This act shall take effect on the same date that
   13  SB 1870 or similar legislation takes effect, if such legislation
   14  is adopted in the same legislative session or an extension
   15  thereof and becomes a law.

   18  And the title is amended as follows:
   19         Delete everything before the enacting clause
   20  and insert:
   21                        A bill to be entitled                      
   22         An act relating to fees; amending s. 559.952, F.S.;
   23         prohibiting the Office of Financial Regulation from
   24         waiving or modifying fees for the Financial Technology
   25         Sandbox except as specified; providing a contingent
   26         effective date.
