    1                          Senate Resolution                        
    2         A resolution rejecting white nationalism and white
    3         supremacy as hateful, dangerous, and morally corrupt,
    4         and affirming that such philosophies are contradictory
    5         to the values that define the people of Florida.
    6  
    7         WHEREAS, recent acts of domestic terror, including acts of
    8  mass violence, have shocked and saddened our nation, and
    9         WHEREAS, this murderous violence was perpetrated by
   10  individuals who embraced a philosophy of white nationalism and
   11  white supremacy, and
   12         WHEREAS, this philosophy is contradictory to the values,
   13  constitutional protections, and moral fiber of the United States
   14  of America and the State of Florida, NOW, THEREFORE,

   16  Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Florida:
   17  
   18         That the Florida Senate rejects white nationalism and white
   19  supremacy as hateful, dangerous, and morally corrupt; and
   20  affirms that such philosophies are contradictory to the values
   21  that define the people of Florida.
