       The Committee on Rules (Rodriguez) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 1868 - 1869
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 49. Effective upon this act becoming a law,
    6  subsection (10) is added to section 381.0031, Florida Statutes,
    7  to read:
    8         381.0031 Epidemiological research; report of diseases of
    9  public health significance to department.—
   10         (10)Notwithstanding subsection (6) or any other state law,
   11  if the United States Department of Health and Human Services,
   12  the Florida Department of Health, or other executive agencies
   13  designated by the Governor has declared an outbreak of an
   14  infectious disease as a public health emergency the department
   15  shall publish a report of the following information related to
   16  that infectious disease during the public health emergency,
   17  excluding patient-identifying information or information that
   18  would identify individual healthcare providers or facilities:
   19         (a)The total number of confirmed cases of the infectious
   20  disease in this state, differentiated by county.
   21         (b)The total number of individuals who have been tested
   22  for the infectious disease in this state, differentiated by
   23  county.
   24         (c)The total number of individuals who are currently being
   25  tested or monitored for the infectious disease in this state,
   26  differentiated by county.
   27         (d)The total number of individuals who have been
   28  quarantined for testing or monitoring of the infectious disease
   29  in this state, differentiated by county.
   30         (e)Any other information the department determines is
   31  relevant to prevent or eliminate the spread of the infectious
   32  disease or otherwise protect and promote public health in this
   33  state.
   34         Section 50. Except as otherwise expressly provided in this
   35  act and except for this section, which shall take effect upon
   36  this act becoming a law, this act shall take effect on July 1,
   37  2020.

   40  And the title is amended as follows:
   41         Delete line 151
   42  and insert:
   43         specified provisions; amending s. 381.0031, F.S.;
   44         requiring the department to publish a certain report
   45         during certain public health emergencies; providing
   46         requirements for the contents of such report;
   47         providing effective dates.
