       The Committee on Banking and Insurance (Brandes) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 75 and 76
    4  insert:
    5         Section 2. Section 627.7288, Florida Statutes, is amended
    6  to read:
    7         627.7288 Comprehensive coverage; deductibles for deductible
    8  not to apply to motor vehicle glass.—
    9         (1) The deductible provisions of any policy of motor
   10  vehicle insurance, delivered or issued in this state by an
   11  authorized insurer, providing comprehensive coverage or combined
   12  additional coverage are not shall not be applicable to damage to
   13  the windshield of any motor vehicle covered under such policy.
   14         (2) An insurer may offer a separate deductible for damage
   15  to the glass of any motor vehicle covered under a motor vehicle
   16  insurance policy delivered or issued by the insurer in this
   17  state.
