Senator Gibson moved the following:
1 Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)

3 Between lines 284 and 285
4 insert:
5 (9) TRAINING.—The Office of the State Courts Administrator
6 shall develop and publish training materials for use by each
7 clerk of the circuit court to train staff about the procedures
8 and timeframes for judicial waivers of notice and consent
9 provided under this section. The training materials must be
10 published on the Office of the State Courts Administrator’s
11 website in an easily downloadable format. The training materials
12 must include information that is stated in plain, easily
13 understandable language.
14 Section 5. The Legislature finds that it is an important
15 state interest that each clerk of the circuit court be provided
16 one full-time equivalent position for the purpose of
17 implementing the training requirements of s. 390.01114(9),
18 Florida Statutes.
