       The Committee on Education (Berman) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 199 - 202
    4  and insert:
    5         c. A sponsor shall provide input to the council within 15
    6  days after receiving a copy of the final application submitted
    7  to the council. The sponsor shall articulate in writing the
    8  specific reasons, based upon good cause shown, for its
    9  recommendation for denial or approval of the application and
   10  shall provide supporting documentation to the applicant. The
   11  input provided by the sponsor must be included in the
   12  application that is provided to the state board.
