    2         An act relating to fees; amending s. 381.06017, F.S.,
    3         as created by SB 512; requiring certain nonembryonic
    4         stem cell banks to pay specified fees; providing a
    5         contingent effective date.

    7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    8  
    9         Section 1. Subsection (6) is added to section 381.06017,
   10  Florida Statutes, as created by SB 512, to read:
   11         381.06017 Nonembryonic stem cell banks; collection,
   12  manufacturing, storage, dispensing, and use of human
   13  nonembryonic stem cells.—
   14         (6) FEES.—An establishment that is required to obtain a
   15  permit, registration, or license under subsection (2) must pay
   16  any fees associated with such permit, registration, or license.
   17         Section 2. This act shall take effect on the same date that
   18  SB 512 or similar legislation takes effect, if such legislation
   19  is adopted in the same legislative session or an extension
   20  thereof and becomes a law.
