       The Committee on Judiciary (Passidomo) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 87
    4  and insert:
    5  guardian under s. 744.309(2). This subsection does not apply to
    6  a public guardian appointed under s. 744.2006 who seeks
    7  appointment as a guardian of a person of limited financial means
    8  and whose compensation as guardian for such person would be paid
    9  from the Office of Public and Professional Guardians or any
   10  local government. The petition for appointment of a

   13  And the title is amended as follows:
   14         Delete line 13
   15  and insert:
   16         defining the term “relative”; providing that a
   17         specified provision does not apply to public guardians
   18         under specified circumstances; amending s. 744.363,
