Senator Jones moved the following:
1 Senate Amendment to House Amendment (649221) to Senate
2 Amendment (with title amendment)

5 insert:
6 Section 12. Effective upon this act becoming a law, the
7 College of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida State
8 University shall review the impact of the dispute process and
9 application of s. 1006.205, Florida Statutes, and submit a
10 racial impact statement to the President of the Senate and the
11 Speaker of the House of Representatives by September 30, 2021.
12 The racial impact statement must estimate the anticipated
13 effects that s. 1006.205, Florida Statutes, may have on racial
14 inequality among the residents of this state and must indicate
15 whether s. 1006.205, Florida Statutes, would increase, decrease,
16 or have no impact on racial inequality or whether the impact is
17 indeterminable. To the extent feasible, the impact statement
18 must include quantifiable data. The impact statement must
19 specify the methodologies and assumptions used in its
20 preparation.
