       The Committee on Community Affairs (Polsky) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 35 - 49
    4  and insert:
    5  Submission of supporting documentation is not required for the
    6  renewal of an exemption under this section unless the property
    7  appraiser requests such documentation. Once the documents have
    8  been inspected by the property appraiser, they shall be returned
    9  to the taxpayer or otherwise destroyed. Annually, the property
   10  appraiser shall notify each taxpayer of the adjusted income
   11  limitation set forth in subsection (3). The taxpayer must notify
   12  the property appraiser by May 1 if his or her household income
   13  exceeds the most recent adjusted income limitation. The property
