       Senator Taddeo moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 207 and 208
    4  insert:
    5         Section 5. Subsection (9) is added to section 409.903,
    6  Florida Statutes, to read:
    7         409.903 Mandatory payments for eligible persons.—The agency
    8  shall make payments for medical assistance and related services
    9  on behalf of the following persons who the department, or the
   10  Social Security Administration by contract with the Department
   11  of Children and Families, determines to be eligible, subject to
   12  the income, assets, and categorical eligibility tests set forth
   13  in federal and state law. Payment on behalf of these Medicaid
   14  eligible persons is subject to the availability of moneys and
   15  any limitations established by the General Appropriations Act or
   16  chapter 216.
   17         (9) An individual described in 42 U.S.C. s.
   18  1396a(a)(10)(A)(i)(VIII).
