       Senator Wright moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Substitute for Amendment (588446) 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 29 - 36
    4  and insert:
    5  duty to a veterinary clinic or similar facility if there is no
    6  individual requiring medical attention or transport at that
    7  time.
    8         (3) Notwithstanding s. 474.213, a paramedic or an emergency
    9  medical technician may provide emergency medical care to a
   10  police canine injured in the line of duty while at the scene of
   11  the emergency or while the police canine is being transported to
   12  a veterinary clinic or similar
