       The Committee on Judiciary (Brandes) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Between lines 143 and 144
    4  insert:
    5         (k) The right to consent in writing before his or her minor
    6  child’s grades are released to a law enforcement officer or law
    7  enforcement agency by an agency or institution as defined in s.
    8  1002.22 unless such release is authorized by s. 1002.221 and the
    9  Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, 20 U.S.C. s. 1232g.
