Section 985.031, Florida Statutes, is created to 7 read: 8 985.031 Age limitation; exception.— 9 (1) This section may be cited as the “Kaia Rolle Act.” 10 (2) A child younger than 7 years of age may not be 11 adjudicated delinquent, arrested, or charged with a violation of 12 law or a delinquent act on the basis of acts occurring before he 13 or she reaches 7 years of age, unless the violation of law is a 14 forcible felony as defined in s. 776.08. 15 Section 2.
