       The Committee on Rules (Farmer) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (149800) 
    2  
    3         Delete line 154
    4  and insert:
    5  of the patient’s preexisting conditions by COVID-19. However, a
    6  claim arising from the care or treatment of a person not
    7  diagnosed with COVID-19 which alleges that a nursing home
    8  facility’s acts or omissions exacerbated the person’s
    9  preexisting condition or injury is not a COVID-19-related claim.
