       The Committee on Rules (Thurston) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (149800) 
    2  
    3         Delete line 249
    4  and insert:
    5  a COVID-19-related claim against a health care provider.
    6  However, this act does not apply to claims brought against a
    7  facility that was cited for a deficiency pursuant to s.
    8  400.23(8)(a), (b), or (c) during the 3 years preceding the date
    9  of the State Surgeon General’s declaration of the state public
   10  health emergency relating to COVID-19.
