       The Committee on Criminal Justice (Brandes) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (240822) 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 27 - 31
    4  and insert:
    5         (d) The court, after a hearing, shall determine on a case
    6  by-case basis whether veterans who have been dishonorably
    7  discharged may participate in a veterans treatment court.
