       Senator Hutson moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete everything after the enacting clause
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 1. Notwithstanding the amendment to section 3 of
    6  chapter 2020-28, Laws of Florida, by CS/CS/SB 1028, 2nd Eng.,
    7  section 3 of chapter 2020-28, Laws of Florida, is not amended as
    8  provided by that act, but is reenacted to read:
    9         Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2021.
   10         Section 2. If this act does not become a law before
   11  CS/CS/SB 1028, 2nd Eng., becomes a law, this act shall operate
   12  retroactively to the date that CS/CS/SB 1028, 2nd Eng., becomes
   13  a law.
   14         Section 3. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.

   17  And the title is amended as follows:
   18         Delete everything before the enacting clause
   19  and insert:
   20                        A bill to be entitled                      
   21         An act relating to higher education; reenacting s. 3
   22         of chapter 2020-28, Laws of Florida, which provides
   23         the effective date for provisions governing
   24         intercollegiate athlete compensation and rights;
   25         providing for contingent retroactive operation;
   26         providing an effective date.
